We review AI products and we make films for AI companies. Both are fine as long as nobody has to guess which one they are watching. So every film says it, out loud, before the story starts.
THE FOUR LABELS
Two are never paid. One always is. One can be either, and says which.
An independent test of a product or a model claim. The company does not pay us, does not send us anything in exchange, and does not see the film before it is published. We do not run a Trust Test on any company that has paid us in the previous twelve months.
A research paper or an idea, explained in plain language. Chosen by us, funded by us, sponsored by no one.
A film about one company's product, made with its team. The opening card, the description and YouTube's paid promotion label say whether the company paid. The company may correct facts; it does not approve the verdict.
A launch film or ad cuts made for a client and published under the client's name. When we show one in our portfolio it is marked CLIENT WORK.
THE RULES
If a film breaks one of these, we fix the label and pin a note on the video saying what changed.
Every DVC film carries exactly one label: Trust Test, DVC Explains, First Look or Commission.
The label appears on screen in the opening seconds and in the first line of the description.
Any film a company paid for has YouTube's paid promotion label switched on.
Trust Tests and DVC Explains episodes are never for sale, at any price.
We do not run a Trust Test on a company that paid us in the previous twelve months.
A company in a First Look may correct facts before release. It does not approve the verdict and cannot remove the label.
